Accessibility statement

Our commitment

Sutherland Cyber Ltd wants everyone to be able to use this website. The site has been designed and tested against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 level AA.

The same standard applies to the websites we build for clients. Every client site is built to WCAG 2.2 level AA: operable by keyboard, readable at high zoom, properly labelled, and never relying on colour alone to carry meaning. Each build is checked against it before launch, and anything found afterwards is fixed rather than argued about, exactly as set out below for this site.

What we have done

  • Semantic HTML with a logical heading structure and landmark regions on every page.
  • Full keyboard navigation, including a skip link and a visible cyan focus indicator on every interactive element.
  • Text and interface colours checked against WCAG contrast requirements, with no status or meaning carried by colour alone.
  • Forms with visible labels, clear error messages and no reliance on colour alone.
  • Animations that respect your "reduce motion" system preference.
  • Responsive layout tested at 400 percent browser zoom, with no loss of content and no horizontal scrolling.

Known limitations

At a browser text size of 200 percent, some pages scroll sideways by a small amount on a narrow phone screen. Content is not lost and nothing becomes unreachable, but it should not happen and it is being fixed. Last checked 26 July 2026.

Aside from that, we are not aware of any parts of the site that do not meet WCAG 2.2 AA. If something has been missed, we want to know about it.

Reporting a problem

If you find anything on this site difficult to use with assistive technology, or anything that does not work as this statement describes, please email kyle@sutherlandcyber.co.uk. Accessibility problems are treated as bugs and fixed with the same priority.

Enforcement

If you contact us about an accessibility problem and are not happy with the response, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS), which supports the enforcement of the Equality Act 2010.
