Terms
Last updated: 31 July 2026.
The short version
You pay monthly or yearly, there is no minimum term, and you own your domain, your content and your accounts throughout. If the site goes down I have 24 hours to get it back or your next month is free. If you do not like the site in the first 30 days, you get your money back and keep the domain.
The rest of this page is that, said properly. It is written in plain English on purpose: a term you cannot understand is not one you have agreed to.
The 24 Hour Restore Promise
If your site goes offline and I have not restored it within 24 hours, your next month is free.
- This applies to any site I host on a paid plan, from the day it goes live.
- The 24 hours runs from whichever happens first: my monitoring detecting the outage, or you telling me about it.
- Offline means the site does not load for your visitors. A single page throwing an error, or a slow load, is a fault I will fix, but it is not an outage under this promise.
- If I miss the 24 hours, your next monthly payment is not taken. On an annual plan, a month is added to your term instead.
- You do not have to claim it or ask for it. I will tell you and apply it. If I have somehow not, email me and I will.
The 30 Day Walk Away
If you do not like the site in the first 30 days, you get your money back and you keep the domain.
- This runs for 30 days from the day your site goes live.
- Tell me inside those 30 days and I refund what you have paid me, in full. You do not have to give a reason.
- Your domain is registered in your name from the start, so it is already yours. You keep it, and I will help you move it wherever you want it to go.
- You keep the content written for the site as well.
- After the 30 days the normal terms apply: no notice period, and hosting is paid a month in advance.
What you pay
- Prices are the ones shown on the pricing page at the time you sign up, and they include VAT.
- Your price stays the same for as long as you stay on that plan. If that ever changes you get thirty days' notice, and you are free to leave.
- Per-project work is quoted as a fixed total in writing before any work starts: 50% on agreement and 50% on launch.
- Anything outside your plan is quoted and agreed before it is started. Nothing appears on an invoice you have not already seen.
- Changes to the wording and the design before your site goes live are included, however many there are. After launch, small changes are part of your plan's ongoing care, and anything that is a new piece of work is quoted first.
Stopping
- There is no notice period and no minimum term. Tell me and that is it.
- Inside the first 30 days, The 30 Day Walk Away above applies and you get your money back in full.
- After the first 30 days, hosting is paid a month in advance and that month is not refundable, so the site keeps running for the month you have already paid for.
- If you have paid annually and leave part way through, the unused months are refunded, less that one month.
What you own
- Your domain is registered in your name, not mine, including its renewal. It is yours from day one and it leaves with you.
- If you already had a domain before we started, it stays yours and stays registered where it is unless you ask me to move it. I do not take ownership of it either way, and there is nothing to pay me to release it.
- Your content and your accounts are yours throughout.
- Copyright in the design and the code transfers to you at launch on a monthly plan, and on final payment for per-project work.
- There is no lock-in and nothing to pay to release any of it. If you leave, I will help you move it.
What I do not promise
Two things, stated here rather than left for you to discover.
- I do not guarantee an uptime percentage. What I guarantee is the restore time above, which is the part you actually feel.
- I do not promise search rankings, and no claim is made that your business will appear in any AI search result. Anyone promising either is guessing.
