What a missed call costs
You are on the tools, the phone rings out, and the caller dials the next name on the list. Nobody leaves a voicemail any more. For a trade, the missed call is the lost job. Here is what happens instead.
It answers
When you cannot get to the phone, a clear and natural voice picks up, says it is your assistant, and asks what the caller needs.
It takes the job details
Name, number, what the work is, where and roughly when. If a call goes beyond that, it stops asking questions and simply takes a message.
It texts you the summary
Every call ends with a text to you: who rang, what they want and how urgent it sounded. On the £89 tier it can also book callbacks and appointments for you.
Two ways in
Start small with the text back, or hand the whole phone over. Both begin with the £99 setup. All prices include VAT.
Missed call text back
The simple starter. Every missed call triggers an instant text to the caller, so they know they have reached a real business and can reply instead of dialling the next name.
Full call answering
The main service. The assistant answers, takes the details and texts you the summary. £39 a month covers 100 minutes; £89 a month covers 250 minutes and adds booking, so a caller can hang up with an appointment.
Honest and upfront
It tells every caller it is an AI assistant before anything else. Calls are recorded so your summary is accurate, and the recording is covered in the privacy notice.
It will not pretend to be human
Pretending would trade your reputation for a gimmick, so it never does. It does not handle emergencies either: an emergency caller is told to ring 999, or your own emergency line, straight away.
Common questions
- What does it sound like?
- A clear, natural voice that introduces itself as an assistant rather than trying to pass as a person. It holds an ordinary conversation: it asks for the details it needs, stops when it has them, and never traps a caller in a menu.
- What happens on a complicated call?
- It does not bluff. The moment a call needs judgement, a price or a decision, it stops, takes the caller's name and number, and gets out of the way. The summary text tells you who to ring back and why, so the tricky calls still reach you.
- Do callers know it is AI?
- Yes, always, by design. It says what it is at the start of every call. Pretending otherwise would be a lie told in your name, and the first caller who felt tricked would cost you more goodwill than a smooth voice ever earned.
