What care covers
The quiet work that keeps a site fast, safe and recoverable, all inside the monthly price.
- Daily backups, kept off the server they protect, so losing the server never means losing the site
- Software and security updates applied before out-of-date versions become a way in
- SSL set up and renewed, so the padlock never quietly lapses
- Uptime monitoring that tells me the moment your site stops answering
- The security audit included on a care plan, fixes and all, rather than sold separately
The 24 Hour Restore Promise
Down for more than 24 hours means your next month is free. That is the teeth behind everything above: monitoring means I hear about problems fast, and missing the mark costs me, not you. The contract wording is in the terms.
Changes done for you
No login to learn, no editor to fight with at nine in the evening. Tell me what changed; I change it.
New prices, new photos, a menu update, a job worth showing off. Email me what needs changing and it is live within one to three working days.
Anything bigger, like a whole new feature, is a project rather than a change, and projects get a fixed price in writing before they start.
Hosting that keeps up
Fast hosting is part of the plan, not a separate bill.
Your site is served from whichever data centre is nearest the person visiting, so it loads fast for the customer round the corner and just as fast for the one searching from further away.
It is the same hosting on every plan; speed is not a tier you pay to unlock. The site speed tune-up is free on sites I host, which keeps me honest about that.
Optional extras
Two things some businesses add on. Both are quoted per project, because the right shape depends on how you work.
Out of hours alarm response
Monitoring alarms answered outside working hours, for businesses whose site cannot wait until morning.
A daily or weekly enquiry brief
One plain email summarising the enquiries your site has taken, so nothing sits unread in an inbox you rarely check.
Common questions
- What counts as a content change?
- The everyday stuff: new photos, updated prices, opening hours, menus, a fresh page of text. Send it in whatever form it arrives and it is live within one to three working days. If a request grows into a bigger job, I will say so before it costs you anything.
- What happens if the site goes down?
- Uptime monitoring usually means I know before you do. Backups are taken daily and kept off the server they protect, so there is always a clean copy to restore, even when the server itself is the problem. And if your site is ever down for more than 24 hours, the next month is free: that is the 24 Hour Restore Promise.
- Can I move to you without a rebuild?
- Yes. The plan does not require a new website: I take over the site you already have, as it stands, and improving it is a separate conversation for later if you ever want one. The move itself is free, and the website rescue and moves page walks through how a takeover works.
